James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

The Stanford Cardinal are on a mission to rebuild in the trenches, and they appear to be making progress in the recruitment of one of the best linemen in the 2025 class.

Four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison took to the app formerly known as Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he has trimmed an offer sheet of around 40 schools down to 12. Among those 12 finalists, were the Stanford Cardinal who currently hold three commitments in their 2025 class.

Joining Stanford as finalists for the Florida product are programs such as Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Georgia, and Miami among others. Addison took a trip to Palo Alto this past week, giving him the chance to link up with head coach Troy Taylor and former Stanford star quarterback Andrew Luck.

According to 247Sports, Addison ranks as the No. 132 recruit in the country, No. 14 offensive tackle, and the No. 16 player in Florida. On top of dominating in the trenches for Sumner High, he also wrestles and runs track.
