One of the nation's top transfer players is on the move after revealing his commitment to a struggling ACC power on Friday.
Former Syracuse and Houston cornerback Jeremiah Wilson has been the subject of one of the more interesting transfer situations in the 2025 cycle.
The former three-star recruit initially entered the portal on Dec. 9 before electing to return to Houston for spring practice. Unfortunately for the Cougars, though, Wilson went on to enter the portal again during the spring window on April 21.
Wilson (5-foot-10, 185 pounds) finished third in the Big 12 with four interceptions last season, one of which was returned for a touchdown. He also added 24 tackles, four tackles for loss and four pass breakups in 12 games.
Wilson, ranked as the top available cornerback, announced is commitment to head coach Mike Norvell and Florida State on Friday as the spring transfer window deadline approaches, per On3.
That gives the Seminoles an experienced defensive back in Wilson, who has totaled 61 tackles, seven tackles for loss, five interceptions (two for scores) and 10 pass breakups over two seasons at Syracuse and one with Houston.

Wilson's pledge is certainly a big win for Norvell and Co. after the Seminoles put together a disastrous 2-10 season in 2024. FSU had just came off a 13-1 season with an ACC championship and a College Football Playoff snub.
Florida State finished 87th in scoring defense and 41st in passing defense last season. Norvell made a major change in hiring former Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White, and a handful of transfer additions should create some hope for FSU faithful.
The Seminoles currently hold the No. 5 transfer class (247Sports ) led by Wilson, former Tennessee defensive lineman Jayson Jenkins and a pair of Nebraska transfers in EDGE James Williams and linebacker Stefon Thompson.
Florida State will open the 2025 season at home against Alabama on Aug. 30.
