Despite a chaotic final sequence against Baylor, TCU is two wins away from a berth in the College Football Playoff.

Down 28-26 with 22 seconds left on third down and no timeouts, TCU made the rare call to run the ball. By not picking up the first down, it meant the Horned Frogs' special teams had to sprint onto the field in a mad dash to attempt a game-winning field goal.
The unit got onto the field in time and the 40-yard field goal attempt went off without a hitch. It could have been an epic disaster that would have ruined TCU's playoff hopes. Instead, the Horned Frogs' improbable run continues after a 29-28 win.
Quarterback Max Duggan came up with some huge plays down the stretch to help TCU claw its way to victory.
"Get him to New York City," said color commentator Brock Huard after the game, alluding to the Heisman Trophy ceremony set for Dec. 11.
It will be hard for Duggan to crack the top four among Heisman finalists, but he has more than earned his place in the conversation.
On Saturday, Duggan was 24-of-35 for 327 yards and a touchdown with an interception. He added 50 yards and a touchdown on eight rushing attempts.
This season, Duggan is 204-of-308 (66.2%) for 2,858 yards and 26 touchdowns with three interceptions. He has 94 rushing attempts for 291 yards and five touchdowns.
TCU (11-0, 8-0 in Big 12) faces Iowa State (4-6, 1-6 in Big 12) next week before the Big 12 title game on Dec. 3. The storybook season continues. If TCU's season is any indication as to how the rest of this season will unfold, the ending will leave us breathless.
