Tennessee Vols sixth-year senior tight end Jacob Warren said during an appearance on "Off the Hook Sports" this week that he plans to play in the Citrus Bowl against the Iowa Hawkeyes instead of opting out of the game to prepare for the draft combine.

"The amount of stuff that that has gone on here and the amount of things that we've been through and just kind of what the place means to me and how far I've seen it come and just the work that's been put into this season, I think for myself, being a guy that just truly has a lot of pride in the university, I think that I'd be really upset if I decided to not play in the game," said Warren. "....for me, I feel like the best thing for me is to is to play the game, so I'm excited."

Warren is a former three-star recruit who signed with Tennessee during the 2018 recruiting cycle.

The Knoxville native has caught 52 passes for 598 yards and eight touchdowns during his career with the Vols, including 15 receptions for 182 yards and four touchdowns in 2023.
