EA Sports motto has long been, "if it's in the game, it's in the game."  It looks like that's going to ring true for the Tennessee Vols in the upcoming version of one of the most popular videos games out there.

The Vols' iconic entrance into Neyland Stadium is getting an upgrade going forward, it seems.  The Vols' Twitter/X football account posted "Neyland Effect enabled", with a screenshot of a video game version of a lit up Neyland Stadium at night with the players streaming onto the field, the fireworks, popping off, and the lighting reflecting the current design for Tennessee's night game intro.

A lot of time, EA Sports will miss out on some of the schools' finer details when it comes to their traditions, songs, in-stadium experiences, etc.  That's to be expected to some degree.  After all, the game has to cover every single FBS school.  That's information overload for the game's developers.

However, the Vols' night game entrance has managed to draw more eyeballs in recent years as the Vols have returned to national prominence under head coach Josh Heupel.  The Vols' dark mode night theme and jerseys have been popular, and the entrance with the orange hued lighting and the lit-up T that the players run through has enhanced one of college football's greatest entrances.

For Tennessee fans who enjoy the popular game, it appears as though the opening scene to those playing with the Vols will be about as close to the real thing as it gets.
