Loftin actually committed to the Vols during his official visit to Tennessee this past weekend.
“On Saturday, during the photo shoot, there was a DJ playing music. I had him announce my commitment over the loud speaker and that is how everyone found out," said Loftin to On3. "It was pretty exciting.”
Vols head coach Josh Heupel sent out a "GBO" tweet on Wednesday morning acknowledging Loftin's commitment.
