The Tennessee Vols will expected to be without a couple of key players on Saturday night when the Mississippi State Bulldogs visit Knoxville.
On Wednesday, backup running back DeSean Bishop was ruled out for Saturday's game against Mississippi State. Bishop suffered an injury during Tennessee's 28-18 win against Kentucky last weekend.
On Thursday, we learned that another key Vols player is in serious danger of missing the Mississippi State game.
Vols junior defensive lineman Tyre West was downgraded from questionable to doubtful when Tennessee released its updated SEC injury report on Thursday evening.

West, who made his third consecutive start in Tennessee's win over Kentucky, has totaled 12 tackles, four tackles for loss, and two sacks so far this season.
The Georgia native played 15 snaps in the Vols' win against the Wildcats, 28 snaps in the win against Alabama, and 22 snaps in the win against Florida.
Tennessee has elite depth along their defensive line, so they should still be in good shape against Mississippi State, but there's no doubt that losing West degrades that elite depth a bit. The Vols will hope that West can return to action the following weekend when Tennessee heads to Athens for a key showdown against the Georgia Bulldogs.
