After signing elite prospects such as 5 star WR Aaron Gregory and 4 star RB Jonathan Hatton Jr, the Aggies have shown no signs of slowing down their 2026 recruiting process.

While Texas A&M currently finds themselves sitting as the No. 5 2026 recruiting class in the nation, head coach Mike Elko and his staff continue to host prospects from both this year and next year's class as spring practices begin to heat up. Among the recruits who recently visited College Station was 3 star quarterback Legend Bey, one of the Aggies top remaining prospects. The 5 '10”, 175 pound recruit is a speedy, dual threat QB that can launch it down field or scramble for 10 yards when needed. Adding a QB of Bey’s caliber to the Aggies 2026 recruiting class could prove to be a major acquisition for Texas A&M, as the future star might just be the final piece that the Aggies were looking for.

Bey currently holds a total of 35 offers, with Texas A&M projected as his landing spot. The Forney, Texas native has offers from other major programs as well, as Georgia and West Virginia are reported to be top options along with the Aggies. With multiple powerhouse programs currently in Bey’s top 10, it will be crucial for the Aggies to keep in touch with the quarterback and continue to host him on campus for official visits. The future star QB’s top 10 schools may come as a surprise for some, as Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Duke, Texas Tech, Boston College, Ohio State, and Oregon are said to be in the mix as well.

As Bey continues to narrow down his options, expect coach Mike Elko and the Aggies to become much more aggressive in hopes of landing their future quarterback.
