Texas A&M star quarterback Marcel Reed is the latest college football quarterback to sign an NIL deal with a private jet company.
Reed took over the starting role last season and helped the Aggies and first-year head coach Mike Elko post an 8-5 record, the first eight-win season for the program since 2021.
The Nashville native originally signed with Texas A&M as a four-star recruit and redshirted his first season before breaking out in 2024.
In 11 appearances and eight starts, Reed completed 61.3% of his passes for 1,864 yards with 15 touchdowns to six interceptions while adding 543 yards rushing and seven scores on the ground. His 4.7 yards per carry led all SEC quarterbacks.
Reed, who holds a $453,000 NIL valuation (On3), is making some notable NIL moves ahead of his first season as the full-time starter.
His latest deal is a partnership with private jet company ENG Aviation, according to On3's Pete Nakos. That makes Reed the fourth college quarterback to sign with a private jet company, also including Quinn Ewers, Jaxson Dart and Carson Beck.
Reed will serve as an ambassador for ENG Organ Recovery, and he is scheduled to be at a Houston hospital this summer to meet with organ donors, recipients and their families.
“I’m really excited to team up with ENG Aviation,” Reed said in a statement via On3.“It’s an honor to work with a local Texas company that’s doing something so important—helping save lives through organ donation. Their mission to save lives is something I wanted to join in on, and for us, this isn’t just a sponsorship—it’s a chance to make a real difference together, and I’m all in.”
Reed and the Aggies will open the 2025 season at home against UTSA on Aug. 30.
