The Texas Longhorns finished the 2025 season going 10-3 and 6-2 in SEC matchups. After falling short of a College Football Playoff appearance, they defeated the Michigan Wolverines 41-27 in the Citrus Bowl.

Now in the offseason, head coach Steve Sarkisian is working to build the roster and surround quarterback Arch Manning with additional talent. Despite being eligible for the 2026 NFL Draft, the redshirt sophomore opted to return to the Longhorns.

On Friday, 247Sports' Chris Hummer reported that Texas landed former Oregon State Beavers offensive lineman Dylan Sikorski out of the transfer portal.

According to Hummer, Sikorski played 444 snaps for the Beavers in 2025, allowing zero sacks.

As a redshirt freshman, Sikorski has spent his entire collegiate career with Oregon State. 247Sports transfer rankings place him as a three-star recruit and the No. 27 interior offensive lineman to hit the portal this offseason. He will have three more years of eligibility.

Landing the 6-foot-4 and 332-pound pass protector is especially important for Texas, considering its outgoing players. The Longhorns have already suffered 22 transfer portal departures. That includes interior offensive linemen Nate Kibble, Daniel Cruz, Neto Umeozulu and Connor Stroh.

Allowing Manning to have a clean pocket is a top priority for Texas. However, last season he was sacked 23 times, which is tied for the eighth most of any quarterback in the SEC.

Being able to replenish talent through the portal and give Manning more support is one of the keys to the Longhorns' offseason. Bringing in Sikorski could bolster an offensive line, which had its ups and downs protecting Manning in 2025.
