Texas QB Arch Manning's subtle diss at Tennessee legend Peyton Manning adds fuel to fun family rivalry

Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning let loose an inadvertent "diss" at Tennessee Vols legend/NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning, one of his famous uncles, this past week.

Arch, who is entering his third season at Texas, announced a new NIL deal deal with Red Bull in late January. The former five-star recruit has done a couple of interviews while subtly promoting his Red Bull partnership.

During one of those interviews, Arch was asked who he thinks is the greatest quarterback of all time.

Arch, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, didn't name either of his famous uncles (not that anyone thought he was going to say Eli....sorry Eli).

Instead, Arch quickly went with Tom Brady as his answer.

(Arch also passed the Michael Jordan/LeBron James debate with flying colors as he pointed to MJ as the greatest non-football athlete of all time.)

Ouch. I mean, the Super Bowl rings don't lie. Brady has seven and Peyton only has two.

Now, it can be debated that Peyton would've had similar results had he been paired with Bill Belichick for nearly two decades. And maybe he would've. But we'll never know, so we just have to go with results that we have. Brady has won big games at a more consistent level than anyone in the history of the sport. Peyton may have been more skilled as a quarterback, but it's hard to argue with what Brady accomplished in what's arguably the greatest team sport in all of sports.

Arch's answer should make for some fun debates around the Manning Thanksgiving dinner table. We already know the Mannings are a competitive bunch and I'm sure Peyton will be eager to argue his case as the best quarterback of all time.
