Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond is among the many Longhorns players who have declared for the 2025 NFL Draft following the team's 28-14 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Cotton Bowl.

Pete Thamel of ESPN first reported the news that Bond would pass on his final year of eligibility to take his career to the professional level. Bond, who originally started off his college career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, reeled in 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns in 2024.

That was his lone season with the Longhorns, but marked a career year for him. Bond finishes out his college career with 99 catches for 1,428 yards with 10 touchdowns. He averaged 14.4 yards per reception.

He started in 12 games, missing two contests, including the College Football Playoff game against the Clemson Tigers, due to injury.

Most projections by NFL Draft analysts have Bond going in the first round, with some predicting that he could be picked within the top-10.

It will be interesting to see where he lands come April, but he should immediately help add speed and a boost to the next offense he joins as he makes the transition to the NFL level.
