Before Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti coached a single game for the Hoosiers, he was asked about how he would be able to sell a program that had more losses than any other team in FBS history to recruits.
“It’s pretty simple. I win. Google me,” was his response.
Two seasons later, that has become prophetic.
Cignetti and Indiana have gone a combined 27-2 over those two seasons, won a share of the Big 10 championship for the first time since 1967 and equaled the number of bowl wins in the program’s first 125 seasons with three in 2025-26 en route to their first-ever national title.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the national championship-winning head coaches for each college football season since 2000 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
