The 'CFP appearances' quiz

The quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff begin on New Year’s Eve, with the No. 2-seed and defending champion Ohio State taking on No. 10 Miami in the Cotton Bowl.

The Miami Hurricanes went into a raucous College Station and beat Texas A&M in a 10-3 defensive battle that was 3-3 until Carson Beck found Malachi Toney for an 11-yard touchdown with just 1:50 left in the game. The Miami defense sealed the game on the following possession with their second interception of the contest to win the first College Football Playoff game in program history.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. With the expansion of the CFP field to 12 teams, 27 different programs have made the tournament since it was introduced in the 2014-15 season. With that being said, how many of those teams can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
