For the first time in school history, the Indiana Hoosiers begin a national title defense in college football this week when they take on the North Texas Mean Green.
The reigning-champions enter the season ranked No. 6 in the AP Top-25 under head coach Curt Cignetti despite losing Heisman Trophy winner and first-overall NFL Draft pick Fernando Mendoza.
While few would have expected the Hoosiers to be the school to complete the job, 2025-26 was the third-straight season a Big 10 school has won the national championship after a run of four-consecutive from the SEC.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. How many of the college football national champions since 1950 can you name in seven minutes?
Good luck!
