Fleming and Smith-Njigba Return to Action

Following the Fleming and Smith-Njigba’s returns were not that exciting to watch. But, Fleming did show that he could be a favored red zone target for the Buckeyes. Smith-Njigba didn’t get to see much action with him being limited on the field after returning from his week one injury. Only targeted three times for 33 yards on the night.  Although, Toledo was triple covering him all night. The Buckeyes are starting Big Ten play this week against the Wisconsin Badgers. The roles for Fleming should continue to grow week to week. For Jaxson Smith-Njigba, depending on how he feels should also have more playing time. As expected, the Buckeyes offense will be a pick your poison type of offense this season, as Big Ten play starts this upcoming week.

Buckeyes Vs. Badgers

The Buckeyes will host the Wisconsin Badgers this week at Ohio Stadium. This sets up the Buckeyes 110th season of conference play in the Big Ten. The game is at 7:30 p.m. start, and the game is on ABC, for their night slate of games. The Buckeyes hold the series record lead with the record of 70-28 all time. Moreover, winning nine of the last ten meetings against the Badgers. Lastly, how about some love to the Buckeyes defense to show their improvement. Buckeyes defense through three games has given up half as many points, and 3rd down conversions as they did last season.
