The Tennessee Vols had one of the coolest ways ever to celebrate beating the Oklahoma Sooners

On Saturday night in Norman, as Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel discussed beating the Oklahoma Sooners in the stadium where he starred as a player a quarter century ago, the muffled sounds of a popular Luke Combs song could be heard coming from UT's locker room.

Tennessee celebrated beating the Sooners by blasting Combs' song "Ain't no love in Oklahoma".

There's no doubt that the win against Oklahoma, the program that fired Josh Heupel a decade ago, meant a little extra to Tennessee's players.

Heupel did a great job this week about never making this game about his return to the place that shaped him as a player and as a coach. But everyone on the Vols' roster knew what this game meant. And they went out and delivered for Heupel.

It was a huge win for the program -- specifically because it puts the Vols on a collision course with the College Football Playoff. But it was also a huge win for Heupel on a personal level -- the program that told him he wasn't good enough anymore got to see up close that he's more than good enough for Tennessee.

There have been a lot of great wins for the Vols over the last couple of years with Heupel at the helm. This one certainly ranks near the top.
