On Tuesday afternoon, three-star tight end Braden Bach announced his cutdown list, which features three teams from the Big 12 Conference.
The three teams to make the cutdown list were a pair of in-state rivals, Kansas and Kansas State, as well as the TCU Horned Frogs.

Coming out of Argyle High School in the Class of 2026, Bach is listed as a three-star prospect by the On3 Index. He also checks in as the 38th-ranked player at his position and the 131st-ranked player in the state of Texas.
On3’s rating prediction machine has Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats listed as the heavy favorite in Bach’s recruitment with a 53% chance of landing the Texas native. Kansas is the next team to receive odds on the final cutdown list, with a significant drop to 3%, and TCU is not receiving any odds.
Recently, Bach spoke about the Wildcats with On3’s Drew Galloway and his unoficial visit, saying, “The visit was amazing. Had a great time meeting the other recruits and got to talk with Coach Luke Wells for a really long time. They had incredible facilities, and their tight ends were used the exact way I want to be used in college. Overall, a really cool place.”
While no official date is set for Bach to announce his decision, as long as everything stays the course in his recruitment, the Texas native is set to join the Big 12 Conference as a Wildcat, Jayhawk, or Horned Frog.
