On Wednesday, Rivals' Sam Spiegelman reported USC, Texas A&M and Texas are the top schools for Berymon at this time. The Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA) product is ranked the No. 11 defensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 4 overall prospect in Louisiana, according to 247Sports.
Berymon currently has an official visit to Texas set for June 13. He will also take official visits to Texas A&M and USC during the same month.

In 2024, Berymon recorded 38 tackles, eight tackles for loss and seven sacks. The 6-foot-1, 305-pound lineman also excels in track and field in the shot put and discus.
Gabe Brooks, 247Sports' scouting analyst, compared Berymon to Oklahoma Sooners defensive lineman Jayden Jackson. "Pit bull of an interior defensive lineman with broad trunk, big base, and corresponding power and strength. Wears 300-plus pounds well considering relatively limited frame in height/length dimensions. Flashes sudden quickness in the trenches with knock-back power enhanced by a hot motor and intense field demeanor," Brooks noted.
The Longhorns have had recent success with interior defensive linemen over the last few seasons including T'Vondre Sweat, Byron Murphy, Alfred Collins and Vernon Broughton.
Texas currently holds the No. 37 class in the nation for the 2026 cycle with three total commits led by four-star quarterback Dia Bell.
