Tim Tebow Thinks The Heisman Trophy Race Is Over
SCOTT CLAUSE/USA TODAY Network / USA TODAY NETWORK

Tim Tebow is one of the greats of college football. After his NFL career, he has come back to analyze the game and often provides excellent insight into what is going on. This morning, Tebow revealed that he thinks the Heisman Trophy race is over. He sees a clear winner, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Tim Tebow: Heisman Trophy Is Going To Jayden Daniels

Most of the country was down to either Bo Nix or Daniels. After Oregon lost in the Pac-12 championship game, Tebow thinks there is only one choice.

“Jayden Daniels has been absolutely ridiculous with his arm, with his legs and then another thing that stands out, is with his heart. Some of his best moments have also been when he has been nicked up, and that’s something all the voters need to keep in mind.”

Tebow thinks he has the complete package and also has a great story to go along with it. These are things that voters often care about and Tebow knows it.

A Fantastic Season

Daniels is definitely deserving. He has the third most passing yards in all of college football and is tied for the most passing touchdowns across the country. Daniels was a threat with his legs as well rushing for over 1,000 yards and 10 scores. While the Heisman often goes to a player on a team competing for the College Football Playoff, the contenders didn’t have any clear frontrunners. This opened the door for Daniels and his electric play on the field to become the favorite.

Tim Tebow, and a lot of major betting markets, think the race is locked up. The award is presented next week so we won’t have to wait long to see who ultimately wins.
