Northwestern (Fla.) quarterback Neimann Lawrence is already going to be a busy guy despite only entering his sophomore season of high school. The 6-foot-1, 202 pound prospect told Rivals' John Garcia, Jr., he already has plans to visit some of the biggest programs in the country.

“I should be at the Miami vs. Notre Dame game,” Lawrence told Rivals. “I should be in Ohio for Ohio State against Texas. I’m looking to get to Texas, Michigan and maybe a Georgia game as well.

“I’ve never been to a game at Texas or Georgia. I went to a Michigan game but I wasn’t offered at the time.”

Despite being green to the recruiting process, Niemann Lawrence has a plan for all of his trips.

“On these game trips I’m paying attention, trying to put myself into the quarterback’s shoes and see if the offense really fits me,” he said. “See what they’re running and if it satisfies me as well. Really looking at the play style.

“I definitely want to go somewhere to show off my arm.”

Lawrence is also quite fond of Arch Manning and is excited to see what Texas's offense looks like with him under center.

“I went to Texas for a camp and we loved everything, loved the visit,” Lawrence said. “Just want to follow up with the coaches and the other guys, and of course see how the offense does with Arch Manning leading it.”

Neimann Lawrence is also keen on the two Big Ten schools he will see.

“I’ve been to multiple Ohio State games, they like to throw the ball a lot and they have a great running game,” he said. “That’s an offense that I think will fit me in the future.

“Michigan has good balance as well.”

247Sports' director of scouting has seen a good bit of Neimann Lawrence early in his career.

"Advanced passer with impressive field command. Moves at times like a shortstop while avoiding sacks," Ivins said. "Clean from a mechanical standpoint and has rare juice in the arm. Accurate on the run and will throw around obstacles.

"Torched a lower level of competition, but has impressed in best-on-best settings," Ivins said. "On pace to be a chief distributor on Saturdays."

As a freshman at Ransom Everglades School (Fla.), Lawrence threw for 2,851 yards and 35 touchdowns in 10 games. He and his new teammates at Northwestern open the season Friday versus Orange Lutheran from California.

The Bulls are looking to charge ahead in 2025 after the abrupt suspension and departure of former NFL quarterback and Northwestern alum, Teddy Bridgewater.

“We’re going to use it as fuel this season,” Lawrence said. “I’m looking to gain a leadership role on this team and help lead us to another state championship, hopefully a national championship.

“I’m dialed in.”
