The Florida Gators have been working on trying to secure a couple of high profile offensive line recruits, but they haven't been having the best luck.
Four-star offensive tackle Claude Mpouma was a priority target for the Gators, but they lost him to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. While the Gators do have five commitments on the offensive line, they are still pursuing multiple players at the position.
One high profile player that head coach Billy Napier has been targeting is five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo, who is set to commit on the Fourth of July.

The Gators being in the top four isn't much of a surprise, especially after hosting him on an official visit on May 16th, one month after hosting him in an unofficial capacity. Head coach Billy Napier was able to stay in Ojo's top five throughout his recruitment, which was a nice thing to see, as he's the number six overall recruit and number three offensive tackle in the class.
One thing that has been happening over the last few weeks is Ojo trending toward the Texas Longhorns, as he currently has a 90.7% prediction on the On3 Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine.
The tough part for the Gators is that he essentially said that he isn't committing to the Gators. How? Take a look at the above graphic.
Of the four teams that Ojo is considering and featured on the graphic, he is wearing the full uniform for the Longhorns, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Michigan Wolverines with the number 52. Wearing a different number in the Gators' picture certainly seems really odd, and it's possible that it's not even him. The only picture I could find shows a player who appears smaller than the other three in the image.

Why isn't he wearing the same number? Could it be a signal that he's not going to Gainesville? It's certainly a possibility. As things sit, it looks really weird to have one be different than the others.
