Texas had a program-record of 11 players selected during the 2024 NFL Draft.
With another successful season of reaching the College Football Playoff semifinal, the Longhorns should be well-represented throughout the 2025 NFL Draft as well.
Although Texas is still waiting for several key players to decide if they will return for another season or declare for the draft, such as safety Michael Taaffe, many have already chosen to head to the NFL and it's a loaded group.
Here's an ongoing list of Texas players who have announced their decision to enter the NFL Draft. We will update the list as decisions are made.
Cornerback Jahdae Barron, tight end Gunnar Helm, defensive lineman Alfred Collins, and a couple more offensive linemen have yet to officially announce their decisions although the NFL is expected. Along with Taaffe, the Longhorns could potentially return pass rusher Trey Moore next season.
It will certainly hurt to lose this talented group, but Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has had success via the transfer portal recently and will bring in another top-five recruiting class.
