When an All-Conference offensive lineman enters the transfer portal, college coaches from around the country start frothing at the mouth. That was the situation last night when Xavier Hill of Memphis made himself available.

Hill, 6-foot-4 and 318-pounds, began his collegiate career at LSU before transferring to Memphis prior to the 2023 season. With the Tigers, he was a two-year starter, earning All-AAC honors after both seasons. What makes Hill even more valuable is that he started games at both guard and tackle. This showcases a level of versatility that would make him a top-level addition for most programs.

The Mississippi native, initially committed to Alabama before flipping to LSU during his high school recruitment. A return to SEC for his final season of eligibility is the most likely scenario at this time, with it being very likely that Hill will have several options to choose from.
