After two seasons with the Colorado Buffaloes, winning the Heisman Trophy in 2024, Travis Hunter went on to become the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jaguars traded up from the No. 5 pick to grab the wide receiver and cornerback hybrid. In the 2024 college football season, Hunter was a star on both sides of the ball, winning the Chuck Bednarik and Fred Biletnikoff awards as well.
Hunter has made his way to Miller Electric Center for Jacksonville's OTAs, getting reps on offense and defense. However, he hasn't agreed to a contract with the Jaguars yet.
In fact, after Will Campbell, the No. 4 pick, signed with the New England Patriots on Tuesday, Hunter is now the only top-10 rookie yet to sign a contract, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Despite not signing just yet, Hunter is expected to reach an agreement on a four-year, $46.5 million contract with a fifth-year option and a massive signing bonus, per Spotrac.
Still, NFL fans were surprised Hunter is the last top-ten pick to sign, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.
"What’s taking the Jags & Hunter so long to get ink on the dotted line?" one fan tweeted.
"He should get 100 mil," a second tweeted.
"Working up that bag. Smart," a third tweeted.
"He’s about to get a BIG bonus," another tweeted.
"And he’s out there diving for picks in OTAs!" Another tweeted.
"Those incentives for Hunter on both sides must be hard to manage," a fan tweeted.
Hunter will open his NFL career on Sunday, Sept. 7, when the Jaguars host Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers.
