Travis Hunter had one of the best seasons in college football last year. But his biggest accomplishment to date came over the weekend. The two-way star shifted the spotlight from his football career to his wedding day.

While surrounded by close friends and family, Hunter married longtime partner Leanna De La Fuente in a private ceremony at The Barn at Faith Farms in Athens, Tennessee. The celebration wasn’t just a milestone in his personal life. He had put on display how he got to this point in life and embraced the event.

Among those in attendance were key members of the Colorado Buffaloes staff, including Corey Phillips, Mo Simms, and Rashad “Shadd” Davis. They soaked in the events while being in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Davis shared a touching tribute on social media with pictures of Hunter, along with fellow NFL rookie Jimmy Horn Jr. and Arizona Cardinals receiver Xavier Weaver. It was a moment symbolizing the brotherhood they formed during their college journey.

One noticeable no-show was Deion Sanders. Hunter’s coach and "father figure" was absent from the event with his staff representing the Buffs.

Hunter and De La Fuente, who have been together since 2022, have navigated fame and pressure in public eye with grace. Their relationship was once in the headlines after a viral Heisman moment. But it's clear they got the last laugh. Hunter surprised his new bride a luxurious blacked-out BRABUS XL SUV.

Hunter reminded everyone that life’s biggest victories sometimes happen off the field. His day with De La Fuente was a celebration of love, but a powerful reflection of growth and gratitude.
