Travis Hunter is preparing for his first season in the NFL, set to play both sides of the ball with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The wide receiver/cornerback was drafted by the Jaguars with the No. 2 overall pick after playing two seasons at Colorado and one season at Jackson State.
As he makes the transition to Jacksonville, Hunter has decided to take some time for the fans, scheduling a meet and greet in Duval County.
"This is Hey Dude country," Hunter posted. "Meet Travis Hunter, Wednesday, June 18. Dick's Sporting Goods St. Johns Town Center.
The event will begin with the Hey Dude country tailgate event from 3 p.m. ET to 6:30 p.m. ET. According to the flyer, there will be games, giveaways and a chance to meet Jaxson de Ville.
Travis Hunter's official meet and greet will take place from 5:30 p.m. ET to 6:30 p.m. ET. The first 100 fans will have a photo opportunity with Hunter.
"Hey dudes, come say hey to me tomorrow at the DSG in Jacksonville," Hunter said.
Travis Hunter is set to make an immediate impact for first-year head coach, Liam Coen. Jacksonville's head coach has already mentioned that Hunter will be playing both sides of the ball at the professional level.
While playing wide receiver and cornerback at Colorado under Deion Sanders, Hunter was named the Heisman Trophy winner last season.
With the Colorado Buffaloes last season, Travis Hunter posted 15 touchdowns and 1,258 yards on 96 receptions.
On the defensive end, Hunter had one forced fumble, four interceptions, 11 pass deflections and 35 tackles.
