In an NFL on NBC halftime interview with Chad Johnson, Colorado football's two-way star Travis Hunter speculated on his Madden rating in his rookie season.
After saying his rating should be "85 or above," Hunter said he would challenge Johnson one-on-one for his Heisman Trophy.
Speaking of 85, Johnson, formerly known as "Ochocinco" in reference to his jersey number, needed clarification after Hunter threw down the gauntlet.
"When you say '1v1' me, like where you put on cleats, I put on cleats, and you think you can try and cover me? Is that what you're trying to say? And we're going to do it for your Heisman? And if I rout you, I get your Heisman for a year?"
Hunter can be seen smiling and nodding as Johnson speaks, responding in the affirmative, "Oh my God, okay."

Johnson continued, "Listen, the best I can do for you, as a rookie coming into the league, I give you a 76.”
Hunter, visibly agitated, couldn't believe Johnson, "A 76?!"
Johnson kept clarifying the rules of their challenge, saying if Hunter could stop him on one of 10 routes, he would be willing to give Hunter a 90 Madden rating.
Hunter teased back, laughing, saying he's a dual threat, so Johnson must also stop him in coverage on one of 10 routes.
Last month, Hunter declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, and many draft analysts speculate that he should be one of the top picks selected.
