Travis Hunter Sends Message After Major Personal Decision

Travis Hunter is now an NFL athlete, entering his rookie season with the Jacksonville Jaguars. 

Hunter played three seasons at the collegiate level, two under head coach Deion Sanders, before being selected No. 2 overall in the draft.Now, as Hunter works toward taking the next step in his football career, he’s made some interesting moves on and off the field. 

The Jaguars wide receiver and cornerback announced his marriage to Leanna Lenee, whom he's been dating since 2022. 

Upon announcing the news, making a massive decision in his personal life, he posted a message about their journey together. 

"Just two kids living out everything they talked about at 18 & 19 years old. 224 ❤️," Hunter said. 

The two dated since February 2022 and have since gone through the rollercoaster of Hunter's college football career and journey to the NFL together. 

Hunter began his college career at Jackson State. After playing one season with the Tigers, Hunter transferred to Colorado when Deion Sanders took over as the head coach of the Buffaloes.

During his final college football season, Travis Hunter was named the Heisman Trophy winner, earning the award over several other stars such as Ashton Jeanty and Cam Ward. 

In his last season with the Colorado Buffaloes, Hunter tallied 15 touchdowns and 1,258 yards on 96 receptions on the offensive end. 

On defense, as a cornerback for Colorado, Hunter posted one forced fumble, four interceptions, 11 pass deflections and 35 tackles.
