Travis Hunter Sends Strong Message to Anyone Doubting Shedeur Sanders

The Colorado Buffaloes have two of the most intriguing NFL rookies as alums heading into the 2025 season. Both Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are among the most talked about players in the league right now.

Hunter, who was taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, is considered to be a rising superstar. He will also be attempting to play both offense and defense in his rookie season.

As for Sanders, he'll be involved in a major quarterback competition with the Cleveland Browns. Originally expected to be a first or second-round pick, Sanders was ultimately drafted at No. 144 overall in the fifth round. He's looking to work his way onto the field at some point this year.

While Hunter is expected to become a star, Sanders has received mixed predictions.

Even though Sanders is being questioned, Hunter fully believes in his former teammate. Hunter spoke out with a strong message to Sanders' doubters.

“We just going to work, man,” Hunter said. “We both got our heads down, and doing what we have to do. There’s a lot of doubters out there for him, and he’s going to go to work. I’m going to go to work and just going to do what we’ve always been doing.”
