The NFL draft is a life-changing moment for every prospect who gets to hear their name called and watch their dreams come true. But what makes it even more special are the moments shared with family and loved ones—and that’s certainly the case for Colorado Buffaloes two-way star Travis Hunter on Thursday night.
Hunter is projected to be selected very early, potentially at No. 2 overall by the Cleveland Browns. Earlier this week, it was announced that his father, Travis Hunter Sr.—who is currently under home confinement on a three-year probation—received special permission to attend the draft in Green Bay alongside his son.
Back in the fall, when Hunter was awarded the Heisman Trophy, his emotional speech went viral as he credited his father as a key figure in his success. Now, just hours before the draft, Travis Sr. is going viral once again—this time for his sharp draft-night look, after a video of him in a stylish suit surfaced on social media.

College football fans reacted to heartwarming video:
"This is the Dad story that should garner attention Good for him - Glad he can be there," A fan said.
"Good, glad he can be there for this moment. He paid his dues to society," Another fan posted.
One more person added, "Travis Sr. will see his son live out his lifelong dreams."
Travis Hunter is widely regarded as one of the most unique and talented athletes in recent memory—and he’s made it clear ahead of the NFL Draft that he wants to continue playing both wide receiver and cornerback, just as he did throughout high school and college.
Last season at Colorado, Hunter played over 90% of the team’s total snaps, logging more than 700 snaps on both offense and defense under head coach Deion Sanders. Sanders has been a vocal advocate for Hunter continuing his two-way play at the professional level—a move that, if sustained, would make Hunter a true “unicorn” in today’s NFL.
