Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs finished the 2025 NFL season on a six-game losing streak, finishing with a 6-11 record and missing the playoffs for the first time in 10 years. Now, Kelce's contract has come to an end as he ponders whether to retire or return for a 14th season in the league.

Despite the poor season, which also saw quarterback Patrick Mahomes go down with a torn ACL, Kelce still had a productive year at the age of 36. The former Cincinnati Bearcats tight end finished 2025 with 76 catches for 851 yards and five touchdowns, breaking Kansas City's all-time touchdown record in the process.

But to begin his offseason, Kelce has remained active with his podcast "New Heights," which also stars his brother and former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. And Travis Kelce has used his platform to help other athletes live their dreams.

Laila Edwards began her ice hockey career at the University of Wisconsin before becoming the first Black woman to make the United States women's ice hockey team. Over the past few years, she has appeared in a couple of major international events, helping the U.S. win silver at the 2024 IIHF Women’s World Championship in the United States and gold at the 2025 World Championship in the Czech Republic.

In early January, Edwards was named to the USA roster for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy, marking her first appearance at the Games. Following the roster reveal, the Kelce brothers gave Edwards a shoutout on their podcast. When she later needed help bringing her family overseas, Travis Kelce was quick to step in, donating to her family's GoFundMe.

"They've helped out with my family's GoFundMe to go over there and support me," Edwards told PEOPLE. "My family put up a GoFundMe, and [Travis] donated. He's been in touch a little bit on how else he can help... So I mean, those are just really good guys. They're really good people, too, outside of their athletic abilities."

Edwards also noted that Travis Kelce said that he and Jason Kelce are big fans of hers.

The Winter Olympic Games will begin on Friday, February 6, with the opening ceremony and will run through Sunday, February 22.
