In a post on Instagram, Red Bull wrote, “target locked, wiings secured @archmanning.”
Arch Manning was one of the most coveted quarterbacks coming out of high school in the 2023 class in recent memory. As we all know, his uncles are Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks. He served as backup to Qwinn Ewers for two seasons, starting two games for an injured Ewers in 2024. He threw for 939 yards, nine touchdowns, and completed 68% of his passes. Adding 115 yards on the ground and four touchdowns makes him a true dual-threat quarterback.
According to On3 NIL Valuation, he has the highest NIL valuation of any college or high school athlete, in any sport. The valuation establishes the overall NIL market for an athlete by measuring two categories: Roster Value and NIL. Manning's NIL valuation is 6.6 million, 2.3 million more than the next athlete on the list.
It is now “Arch Time” in Austin. He comes in as a Heisman Trophy candidate and the Longhorns are a favorite to make the college football playoffs. It will be very interesting to see if Manning and Texas can live up to the extremely high expectations. Anything less than a national championship will seem like a failed season.
