Over the past two seasons, Michigan football has seen the best two-year stretch of offensive line play that the sport has ever seen. The Wolverines brought home the Joe Moore Award for the first time in 2021 and became the first program to win the award in back-to-back seasons in 2022. One of Michigan’s veteran offensive linemen, Trevor Keegan, recently went on WTKA Radio to praise the Wolverines’ offensive line room.

What did Trevor Keegan have to say about the Wolverines’ O-line?

When given the chance, Keegan and his teammates along the offensive line continue to praise Michigan’s talented and deep O-line room. While on the air, Keegan had this to say about the 2023 Michigan football offensive line:

“There’s so many people… I think there’s like 14 or 15 people that could start [at any program] in the country.” Keegan said. That’s not me bragging, but we’ll have two or three offensive lineman that will go out there, and they’ll dominate.”

Frankly, everything that Trevor Keegan is correct — the Wolverines have been steadily improving their offensive line room via the portal, returning starters, and growing in-house talent. Now, ahead of the 2023 college football season, Trevor Keegan and his teammates could be the first offensive line group to win three-straight Joe Moore Awards.

It may not have seemed possible from a year ago, but the Wolverines’ offensive line could be significantly better than it was a season ago. Now paired with a solid corps of tight ends and receivers, not to mention Michigan’s elite backfield, Michigan football and its Joe Moore Award-winning offensive line will be in hot pursuit of the program’s first National title since 1997
