Auburn is not done yet.

The Tigers' director of recruiting Trovon Reed sat down with Mike Gittens of The War Rapport to talk all things recruiting.

Reed was asked about the change in Auburn now that the recruiting has picked up. Reed promised Gittens a top five recruiting class back during Big Cat Weekend, and with the Tigers currently sitting at No. 7 in the national rankings, Reed says Auburn's goal is to get that top five spot.

Things are changing on the Plains.

"It's a new day for Auburn," Reed said. "We're not afraid. We're going to compete. And we're also gonna compete on that field. We coming. Not just on the field, we're coming in recruiting, and everything else that comes with it."

Gittens pointed out that Georgia currently has ten top-100 commits in their class. Auburn has six.

Are the Tigers making a push to compete with the Bulldogs?

"The competition of that rivalry, it never went nowhere but it's back. It's back in all aspects," Reed said. "Those guys have been doing a great job over there. They've been doing it for years. But we doing it too. We've got some flavor. Coach Freeze, he got some swagger now, and we're all doing it his way. No one is trying to outdo no one on the staff, or this, that, or the third. Coach Freeze gave us a game plan and we're playing our position. We're doing it his way."
