The Louisville football program's incredible weekend as it pertains to recruiting the transfer portal keeps on rolling.

Antonio Meeks, a wide receiver who spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career in the Division II ranks with Tuskegee, announced Saturday that he has committed to the Cardinals.

Meeks is the fifth transfer commitment of the day for Louisville, and their sixth over the past two days. Houston offensive tackle Reuben UnijeOklahoma safety Daeh McCulloughGeorgia Southern offensive tackle Rasheed Miller and Texas A&M linebacker Jurriente Davis all committed earlier in the day, while Toledo running back Peny Boone pulled the trigger on Friday.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Meeks has been one of the best wide receivers in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the last two seasons. Playing all 11 games as a true freshman in 2022, he made an instant impact, catching 31 passes for 692 yards and six touchdowns to lead that Golden Tigers in all categories.

Despite being limited to just eight games this season due to injury, the Lilburn, Ga. native had an even better 2023 campaign. He logged 43 receptions for 745 yards and five touchdowns to once again lead Tuskegee in all three categories, taking home Second-Team All-SIAC honors for his efforts.

Meeks' commitment is only the latest domino to fall when it comes to the roster movement in the Cardinals' wide receiver room. While Louisville loses Jamari Thrash to the NFL Draft plus Ahmari Huggins-Bruce and Kevin Coleman Jr. to the portal, they are also bringing in the one-two punch of Alabama's Ja'Corey Brooks and South Alabama's Caullin Lacy. Add in a returners in Chris Bell and talented true freshmen like Joseph Stone Jr. and Shaun Boykins Jr., and the Cardinals' passing game looks to take a huge leap forward in 2024.

Louisville has now landed 22 transfer commitments in this cycle, while also seeing 18 scholarship players of their own enter the portal during the winter transfer window.

The Cardinals finished their 2023 season with an overall mark of 10-4 (7-1 in ACC) including a berth in the program's first ever ACC Championship Game, but ended year one under head coach Jeff Brohm on a three-game losing streak.
