Chad Reuter recently compiled a mock draft for the NFL website that showed how he thinks the first three rounds will play out.
In this mock draft, Reuter had both Derick Hall and Owen Pappoe being selected in the third round.
Hall was picked to be taken 70th overall by the Las Vegas Raiders and Pappoe with the 97th pick to the Washington Commanders.
It is excellent to see Pappoe as a day-two pick on some draft boards, but Hall was a bit lower on this mock draft than many would have expected.
A mock draft released less than a month ago had Hall being taken at the end of the first round, so it seems like it will be a toss-up to see when his name comes off the board.
Regardless, it is exciting to see that we will likely hear two Auburn players' names called on day two of the draft.
The two teams these guys were mocked to, the Raiders and Commanders, are young teams with some superstar talents that are a quarterback away from being contenders.
We are two months away from the NFL Draft, so hopefully, between then and now, these two former Tigers will climb up draft boards.
With Hugh Freeze taking over at Auburn, hopefully, the Tigers will return to being a school with tons of talent entering the draft every year.
