Alabama football’s quarterback, Ty Simpson is confident in his ability to effectively and successfully lead the Crimson Tide under center in 2025.

Simpson enters this summer and fall with the ball finally rolled in his court after serving as a backup for the ladder part of the last two seasons behind Jalen Milroe. The former five-star now has his eyes set on becoming the Crimson Tide’s next starting quarterback. He made this evident to media members Friday at the Manning Passing Academy as he talked confidently about what he brings to the table as a quarterback.

“I feel like I’m gonna be tough, I’m gonna be accurate, I’m gonna make sure that we give our offense the best chance to win in any situation,” Simpson said. “I feel like I’ve waited my turn, and I’ve learned a lot from those guys, and I understand with my dad being a coach, I’ve got a mind for football. I’m just excited to be able to play for the university I love, in front of the people that love and with the people I love.”

Simpson has an opportunity to further solidify himself as the Crimson Tide’s next official starting quarterback in 2025 if he can ultimately beat out Austin Mack and Keelon Russell when the Tide begins fall camp.
