UC Football's Malik Vann Declares For 2024 NFL Draft, Mason Fletcher Returning, Cam Jones, Jah-Mal Williams Entering Transfer Portal
USA TODAY Sports

A few more UC players made future decisions on Monday , including defensive end Malik Vann heading to the NFL Draft.

Vann helped spearhead runs to the Peach Cotton Bowl during his six-year UC tenure and was a mainstay on the defensive front over that time. He finishes his career with 102 tackles, 9.5 sacks, and five pass breakups.

The 2024 Consensus Database does not have Vann ranked as a prospect.

Mason Fletcher is also staying in Cincinnati for his senior season.

Fletcher has been one of the best punters in the country over his career and should solidify that portion of the team in an uncertain offseason.

The Australian averaged 43 yards per punt this past season. It also looks like Joey Beljan is excited to use his final year of eligibility with Fletcher after he missed all of the 2023 with injury.

A pair of other players entered the transfer portal in offensive tackle Cam Jones and linebacker Jah-Mal Williams.

Jones has gone from quarterback to tight end to offensive tackle in his five-year career and played in one game this past season.

Williams is a redshirt junior and played 56 snaps across eight games this season. He posted four tackles and a 65.2 PFF grade.
