UCLA Football: Ethan Garbers Mercilessly Trolls Caleb Williams With Perfect Post
USA TODAY Sports

What a weekend it was for your 7-4 UCLA Bruins football team, as they took down their rivals, the USC Trojans, in impressive fashion with a 38-20 victory. The Bruins led the game from start to finish, and they controlled every aspect of it.

It was a good old-fashioned win for UCLA, and they now get bragging rights for the next year. The Bruins defense came to play, stifling the strong USC offense on the day.

USC entered the game with an edge at the quarterback position, boasting the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Caleb Williams. But it was the Bruins' quarterback who got the last laugh in the game.

Ethan Garbers outperformed Williams, throwing for 155 yards and three touchdowns. It was a strong performance from him, and he commanded the game very well.

Of course, there was trash talk after the game, which is only natural from long-time rivals. But Garbers decided to take it up a notch and took a shot at Williams himself with a social media post.

The post was a reference to something that Williams had posted a year ago after the Trojans took down UCLA. Garbers returned the favor, trolling Williams in the process.

This is exactly what you want to see from a rivalry like this, and it's just good fun between the two sides. UCLA deserves to boast about their win, and they get to do so until the teams meet again next year.

When they do meet again, it will be the first meeting between the teams as members of the Big-10. Both programs will be switching after this season, but the rivalry will remain strong.

The Victory Bell rightfully belongs to the Bruins for the next year, and they will be ready to defend it next season.
