We've certainly come a long way from "We're on to Cincinnati."
After signing six-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick to be their next head coach, football has seemingly become the last thing people are taking about at the University of North Carolina.
Instead most of the headlines out of Chapel Hill have revolved around the 73-year-old's relationship with his 20-something girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who was recently profiled by The Washington Post, which spoke to sources close to the Miss Maine USA runner-up.
At 24, Bill Belichick’s girlfriend has advocated for fishermen, given Henna tattoos and won cheer titles.

One comment that especially stuck out came from an unnamed UNC official who "was not authorized to discuss the coach's personal relationship."
"It's just so odd," the official told the Post. "And we just don't know what's coming. Those two decide what they're going to do, and they do it."
"They are insanely suspicious of media," another added. "It's almost Trumpian. ... She's not good at what she's trying to do, and how could she be? She's 24."
Tar Heels administrators have pushed back on the idea that Hudson has been banned from the school's facilities or has anything to do with the university's football program outside of her romantic relationship with the NFL legend.
But things have gotten so loud that there are some that fear Belichick will never even coach a game at Kenan Stadium.
During Belichick's quarter-century long run with the Patriots, he preached "Do your job" and no distractions. However, his first five months on Franklin St. have been anything but laser-focused.
It may be much ado about nothing once the actual football kicks off. But this seems like a story that's going to persist heading into the fall.
