After transferring from Texas Tech to Texas A&M in December of 2024, former five-star wide receiver Micah Hudson has entered the transfer portal again.
Hudson got limited action while with the Red Raiders, with only eight receptions for 123 yards throughout the season. He will now look for a new home again as his game continues to improve.
He will immediately become one of the highest ranked prospects in the transfer portal, and a player that many teams will be in the running for.
Among those teams, a surprising team emerges, as the Utah Utes come as a possible landing spot for the young receiver, according to On3 Sports' Pete Nakos.
The school he originally enrolled in, Texas Tech is also in the mix for Hudson. He has a visit scheduled with Utah this weekend, which gives head coach Kyle Whittingham a great chance to persuade him to make the move.
Utah currently has the No. 38 recruiting class in the country, according to On3 Sports, and are looking to acquire their first player above a three star.
Hudson would immediately be a potential top weapon in Utah, and would give new quarterback Devon Dampier an incredible piece to make the offense run smoothly.
The connection between the two has the chance to build something really special, and could be a duo that the college football world will talk about.
Hudson's visit with Utah this weekend will be telling on what his potential future will be, and is now the biggest name for Utes fans to keep an eye on.
