Tennessee has had a lot of roster movement over the past few days. Running backs Jaylen Wright and Jabari Small opted out of the Citrus Bowl earlier in the week, and quarterback Joe Milton III joined them on Wednesday. The Vols will now start true freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava alongside several other young players on both sides of the football.
The Hawkeyes, and the rest of college football, are also undergoing roster turnover ahead of the game. Star corner Cooper Dejean broke his leg about a month ago, so he'll be inactive, and several other Hawkeyes will not play. Here's what the sports books think with a few days remaining before the final game for both squads.
The offseason is almost underway for Tennessee football. The Vols have concluded the regular season and are now focusing on roster construction for the 2023 season. Volunteer Country has fans covered with all the latest portal entries and NFL Draft declarations. The portal window is from December 4 until January 2. If players don't transfer within that window, they must wait until May following spring practice to enter the transfer portal.
