Florida Gators fans are familiar with the name Urban Meyer, who produced 2007 Heisman winner Tim Tebow and won national titles for the program in 2006 and 2008.

On a recent episode of "The Triple Option," Meyer predicted how Florida's 2025 season would go. Florida's win total for 2025 is set at 7.5, per BetMGM

Meyer believed that Florida would be above 7-5 at the end of the 2025 college football season.

Billy Napier now leads Florida as head coach, who just secured his first winning season and bowl victory. The last time the Gators won a bowl game was in the 2019 Orange Bowl, where they defeated the Virginia Cavaliers by a score of 36-28.

"I'm actually gonna say that they're gonna be above the 7-5," Meyer said.

Meyer had the Gators beating Long Island and USF to open the year. Then Florida has a brutal four-game stretch where it faces the LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M Aggies.

Meyer had Florida losing to LSU, but had Miami, Texas, and Texas A&M as toss-ups. He believed the Gators could beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs, but said the Georgia Bulldogs would be a loss.

The Kentucky Wildcats were up next, to which Meyer said would be a win. He called the game against the Ole Miss Rebels a toss-up. He predicted Florida would beat the Tennessee Volunteers and the Florida State Seminoles in Gainesville to close the regular season.

Meyer has not shied away from his feelings on his time at Florida. In a recent podcast episode, he called Percy Harvin the greatest college football player of all time.

Harvin was also among Meyer's best NFL players whom the Florida legend coached while in Gainesville.

Napier and Florida open the season with Long Island on August 30.
