USC Football: Former Trojans DL Commits to California Rival
USA TODAY Sports

Former top USC recruit for the class of 2021, edge rusher Korey Foreman, has found a new school.

Foreman will transfer to Mountain West powerhouse Fresno State.

Foreman spent three seasons at USC and will now join the Bulldogs with two years of eligibility left.

In three seasons and 23 games, Foreman collected 25 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one interception. It was clear that Foreman never worked in Los Angeles as he struggled to find a consistent role. Because of that, he entered the transfer portal two days before Christmas.

The 6-foot-4 edge rusher won't be moving too far now. The junior is from Corona, California and attended high school powerhouse Centennial. Coming out of high school, he was the number three player in the nation, number two in his position, and the number one player in California, according to 247Sports.

It's unfortunate it didn't work in Southern California, but we wish him the best with the Bulldogs. Once a Trojan, always a Trojan!
