USC Football: Trojans Brendan Rice Completes Insane Catch in Senior Bowl Practice
USA TODAY Sports

USC Trojans senior wide receiver Brenden Rice is making his case as one of the best in his position for the upcoming 2024 NFL draft class.

After a spectacular season with the Trojans in 2023, he declared for this year's draft. Now, he is showcasing his talents at the Senior Bowl and wasting no time making an impression.

Watch as he makes these defenders look foolish while attempting to guard him at the Senior Bowl.

Rice has improved year by year, and it all culminated with a great 2023 season. He racked up career highs all across the board with 45 receptions for 791 yards, an average of 17.6 yards per catch, and 12 touchdowns for the emerging wide receiver.

If Rice can continue to make an impression in the Senior Bowl, pro day, and combine, he can work his way up the draft boards. According to NFL Draft Buzz, Rice is projected to go in the late second round,

Many teams would regret not drafting Rice higher. He has a tall frame, has a natural hands catcher, consistently high-points the ball, and displays an expansive catch radius. Not only that, but he has the best mentor anyone could ask for in Football Hall of Famer and his father, Jerry Rice.
