Though your USC Trojans' 2023 football season has been somewhat disappointing (their 6-2 record belies a porous defense and intimidating rest-of-season schedule), the work never stops for one of the elite programs in the NCAA.

To wit, the club has reportedly offered standout Lackawanna College defensive lineman Antonio Alfano, according to Brody Smoot of Roll Tide Wire

Beyond the Trojans, the junior college stud also is juggling offers from Louisiana State University, Tennessee, Texas, Texas Christian University, Ole Miss, Oregon, and Nebraska, per Donovan James of Trojans Wire.

In 2019, the 6'5", 270-pound Alfano started off with one of the best modern programs in the game, Nick Saban's always-good Alabama Crime, as a five-star prospect out of Colonia, New Jersey, but left while still a freshman as he dealt with family issues. He entered the transfer portal and joined a pre-Deion Sanders Colorado Buffaloes squad. Mel Tucker was the head coach of Colorado at the time, though Tucker left a month after Alfano joined the team.

Across his first six games this year with the Lackawanna College Falcons, the 22-year-old has recorded 14 tackles and four sacks.
