Most Tennessee Vols fans probably didn't think much about wide receiver Dayton Sneed leaving Rocky Top earlier this spring to join the North Carolina Tar Heels' football program.
Sneed spent two seasons at Tennessee and caught just two passes for 19 yards before leaving for Chapel Hill.
Vols fans, however, are definitely well-aware of Sneed after the Tennessee native took a shot at his former school this week.
Sneed posted a photo on his Instagram story of the latest college baseball top 25 rankings with an interesting caption.
"Switched at the perfect time, they trash now," wrote Sneed.
I mean, Tennessee baseball hasn't been playing well lately, but I wouldn't call a top 25 program "trash".
Sneed knows what it's like to compete at the collegiate level, so it's a bit of a surprise to see him take a shot at fellow student-athletes.
Vols fans, unsurprisingly, are already letting Sneed hear it on social media. Tennessee fans don't forget, so I'm sure that's a trend that will continue into the 2025 college football season.
