After undergoing a complete offensive staff rework, new wide receivers coach Micah Simon wasted no time recruiting players to Salt Lake City as highly touted transfer portal wideout O'Mega Blake has officially become his first target.
Blake spent his first two collegiate seasons with the South Carolina Gamecocks before making the move to the Charlotte 49ers where he broke out this season, racking up 795 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns on 32 receptions.
The 6-foot-2 180-pound wide receiver was a three-star recruit coming out of South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and he has currently received transfer portal offers from Utah, Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Arkansas, Florida State, and Colorado State.
Blake is a deep-threat nightmare for any opposing defensive back as he ranked second in the nation in yards per catch with an average of 28.4, and his skill set would be a perfect fit for Utah and Jason Beck's system, giving new starting quarterback Devon Dampier another speedy weapon to target.
