The Vanderbilt football team continues to feel very confident ahead of the Crimson Tide welcoming the Commodores to Saban Field in Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The Commodores running back, Sedrick Alexander is the latest to speak on this confidence.
“[I] feel good about my team,” Alexander told Tristan Rutman of Vandy Hustler Sports. I feel like we’re going to go dominate down there in Tuscaloosa. I feel like we have the best coaching staff [and the] best players in the country, so I feel like we’re going to do great things.”
Alexander ran the football 21 times against Alabama in the Commodores’ 40-35 win over Alabama in 2024. He finished the game with 64 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The running back is not the only Vanderbilt player who has expressed his desire to dominate Alabama this weekend. Vanderbilt linebacker, Langston Patterson told reporters he wants to leave everything on the field against the Tide.
“When I get back on the bus, I don’t want to be able to feel my shoulder, feel my neck,” Patterson told reporters. “I don’t want to be able to walk the next morning. I want to go out there and give it everything I’ve got, and I want to go dominate.”
Alabama and Vanderbilt will get to settle things on the field on Saturday.
